Edmundbyers Village Hall Association
Community lead - driven by OUR passion for our village

EDMUNDBYERS

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the North Pennines is the small village of Edmundbyers.

The Village Hall Association was founded in 1947, we offer both an indoor and outdoor community space, with a 'not for profit ethos.'

Our aim is to provide a safe environment where our members and non-members can educate, entertain, and enjoy themselves.

We are passionate about our community and want to provide a safe environment that we can all enjoy.

What we offer

As the Village Hall Association we offer both an indoor and outdoor area for both members and non-members to enjoy. Located in our fabulous village and surrounding countryside.

  • The village Hall

This is a full air conditioned environment with two rooms and a fully functioning kitchen. It can hold up to 80 people in the main hall, or if you want a more cosy space their is a smaller room available.

Both rooms or the whole building is available to hire by the hour, half day, or full day.

Extensive Outdoor Space

  • The Village Hall Green

Opposite the Village Hall is the village hall green. This is a fully dry-stoned walled area, accessed by a five bar gate. The area is suitable for vehicles to drive upon, weather permitting and is ideal for either cycling events or outdoor parties.  It is a relatively flat area that can quite easily accommodate even a large  Marquee.  The walls and gate make it a safe area for children
